Melissa Edmonds has over 30 years of experience in Workforce Development and has development excellent business partnerships throughout the Hampton Roads Region. Melissa is a Business Development Manager with Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services. Her service area is the cities of Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach. Known as Missie, she joined the DARS Team in 2005. Missie served as Vice President and President on the Governor’s Virginia Board for People with Disabilities. Through that experience she has developed great collaborations with other state and community agencies. Missie resides in Smithfield with her husband .
