Lynda Byrd-Poller earned her doctorate in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University. She served, most recently as a CHRO in the Virginia Community Colleges System. She currently serves at the University of Louisville as Assistant Professor in the Human Resources & Organizational Development program and She serves as an adjunct professor at Christopher Newport University in the Department of Leadership & American Studies. Lynda has worked in the field of education for more than thirty years and has assumed a variety of leadership positions. Her research interests include leadership, role theory, organizational development, and human resource management.
