Matthew A. Ritchie served in the Virginia Army National Guard for 28 years in a variety of HR assignments, including recruiting officer (earning state and national awards). As a civilian, he advised the Afghan National Army on HR policy, and later joined the Department of Defense to work on leadership development, and workforce education. He has earned an MBA from Liberty University, a Master of Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, and a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) from the University of Richmond.
