Lia is a Partner with over 20 years of consulting experience. Lia specializes in the strategic design and
implementation of compensation programs including executive compensation, management, and
workforce rewards plans. She has extensive experience in advising clients across the spectrum of
classification, compensation, and pay plan design/administration.
Lia joined Mercer in May 2007 after ten years of prior experience and upon graduation from a full-time
2-year MBA program. Previous experience includes major change management initiatives for non-for
profits, as well as benefits administration outsourcing. While at Mercer, Lia has advised hundreds of
clients on job catalog/architecture design, as well as competitive reward assessments and pay plan
approach designs. She also served in account management and compensation technology design
roles. Lia has experience across all industries and in advising publicly listed and privately held
organizations. She is one of Mercer’s subject matter experts on compensation partnerships with city,
county, and state governments; as well as transitioning from jobs to skills.
Lia holds a bachelor’s degree in Decision Sciences (Business Statistics/Analytics) from Georgia State
University in Atlanta, GA and an MBA from Rice University in Houston, TX. She is a member of World@Work and SHRM. Lia serves on Zoo Atlanta’s Leadership Council, their annual fundraiser auction committee, and is a board member for Atlanta Crime Stoppers.
