Henry Yampolsky, J.D. is a best-selling author of Dis-Solving Conflict from Within: an Inner Path for Conflict Transformation. He is a mediator, educator, lawyer, and a multi-time TEDx speaker. Henry serves as the Assistant Director for Education, Outreach, and Conflict Resolution at Virginia Tech’s Office for Equity and Accessibility. He teaches conflict resolution, mediation, and peacebuilding as a part of Virginia Tech’s Center for Peace Studies and Violence Prevention. Henry has taught and lectured around the world, including at: Columbia University School of Law, the New York Peace Institute, National University of Kyiv-Mohila Academy in Ukraine, the International Gandhi Center in New Delhi, Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, India and at the Sattva Summit in Rishikesh, India. Henry has also been on the faculty of Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship and is the recipient of the Global Mediation Synergy Award from the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation. He is also the recipient of prestigious Fulbright Professional Fellowship. Before embarking on a career in peacebuilding, Henry practiced law in Philadelphia. Henry has earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Temple University and has a BS in International Relations from the University of Scranton. Henry is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and can be found on his motorcycle in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
