Donald J. Trump’s return to the US presidency for a second non-consecutive term is having an immediate and direct impact on the workplace. He has issued a flurry of executive orders, many centered on immigration, DEI, gender identity and affirmative action. 

More orders across more areas that affect the workplace are expected. Coupled with his agency appointments, President Trump’s first 100 days and beyond will create new practical and legal challenges for employers. Navigating these challenges while maintaining positive employee relations will require patience, creativity and a focus on the underlying and developing law.
