Cindy Murphy is a Principal and Consultant with Stone Associates-HR, bringing 25 years of experience in human resources and corporate administration. A compliance and policy development expert, Cindy also specializes in employee training, performance improvement, and job coaching. A former educator, she is passionate about creating pathways to employment for underserved populations, including individuals with disabilities, veterans and military spouses, and those with conviction records. Cindy has been a SHRM Volunteer Leader for 17 years, serving in leadership roles in both New Mexico and Virginia. She currently serves as District Director for the Virginia and DC SHRM State Council and is a member of Richmond SHRM. Cindy holds degrees from Randolph-Macon College and Virginia Commonwealth University and lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, Brian.
