Karen Michael has been providing employment law and HR advice for 3 decades. She is President of Richmond-based KarenMichael, PLC, a work law, training and consulting firm founded in 2008. Karen published the book "Stay Hired" in 2021. Karen writes a weekly labor law article for the Richmond Times Dispatch and speaks around the country for such organizations as national SHRM and the EEOC. Karen represents the public and private sector in conducting investigations, training, and represents state agencies in grievance hearings. She also is a Title IX hearing officer and appeals officer.
