Mrs. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and management with a minor in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Business Administration concentration in Human Resources Management, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Strayer University.

Danielle serves as a professor at Virginia Union University, teaching Employee Relations at Sydney Lewis School of Business.
