James "Jimmy" B. Wood leads the Business Immigration Law Team at Willcox & Savage, P.C. His work includes numerous types of nonimmigrant visa cases, employment-based green card cases, and work before the U.S. Department of Labor in handling applications for permanent labor certification for hard-to-fill job positions. Jimmy helps clients develop strategies that meet the employer’s business needs while being consistent with the applicable requirements and regulations under U.S. immigration law. Jimmy is admitted to the Supreme Court of Virginia. He has been recognized for business immigration law by Virginia Business Magazine Legal Elite and Virginia Super Lawyers®, and was featured in Inside Business Virginia "Top 40 Under 40." A Virginia Beach native, Jimmy graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampden-Sydney College.
