A war for talent exists in the recruiting strategy of today’s businesses. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), more than 4.3 million people voluntarily quit their jobs in December of 2021. Successful recruiting strategies rely on a strong brand awareness and an effective use of communicating the mission and values of a company. Generation Z are the newest job seekers and are considered “digital natives”. A good marketing strategy must exist to reach the labor force of today. According to De Smet (2021), a people partnership between Marketing and Human Resources is not always an obvious paring but can reap a substantial return in the competitive marketplace by attracting new talent just as they attract new clients.
