In today's hyper-partisan climate, where people feel empowered to say anything they want on social media, it can be challenging to communicate with and understand people with different backgrounds and ideas. Marie Harf has spent her career working to communicate across boundaries of every kind - including as a Democratic analyst working for Fox News - and will share some lessons learned and tips of the trade. How can we use inclusive language to not just make our point, but hear other people as well? How can we be both respectful and confident in our language? How can we bridge these divides in a productive way?
